All finishers in each event will be awarded a finishing medal which honors an officer who lost their lives in the service to our community. The ribbons attached to the medals denote the specific event.
In 2023 Sergeant Howie Stevenson, Ceres Police Department, End Of Watch January 9, 2005, was honored. In 2024 we will be honoring Officer Earl Scott, California Highway Patrol, End Of Watch February 17, 2006.
The law enforcement personnel running the Full Gear Challenge over the half marathon will also be awarded a custom full sized badge honoring the events fallen officer.
